Hospital History
The story of Serosh Hospital did not begin with a building—it began with a burden.
Years before its establishment, the mission started on the ground through small medical camps, where the reality of untreated illness, lack of access, and silent suffering became impossible to ignore. Families who could not afford basic care, communities living without medical facilities, and patients traveling miles for simple treatment revealed a deep and urgent need.
What began as a response to that need gradually grew into a vision.
In 2012, the foundation was laid through consistent outreach and free medical camps organized under Faith in Growth & Development (FGD) Ministries. These efforts became a lifeline for many, but it was clear that temporary solutions were not enough. The need called for something permanent—something accessible, consistent, and sustainable.
That vision gave birth to Serosh Hospital.
From its early stages, the hospital was never meant to operate in isolation. It became the central hub for a wider healthcare movement—supporting free dispensaries, expanding outreach into villages, and launching training initiatives like the LHV (Lady Health Visitor) program to empower young women from underserved backgrounds.
Over the years, despite financial limitations and growing demand, the work has continued to expand. From a handful of patients in camps to reaching thousands across multiple communities, Serosh Hospital has become a place where care meets compassion, and where service is driven by purpose rather than profit.
Today, Serosh Hospital stands as a testimony: that when a need is seen and answered with faith and action, it can grow into something that transforms not just individuals, but entire communities.
And the story is still being written.
