History of FGD Khano Harni Church

FGD Khano Harni Church was established in 2016 in a place that many would easily overlook—a village hidden away between Lahore and Kasur, cut off from main roads and access routes, making it physically distant and spiritually unreached. What began here was not just the planting of a church, but the beginning of a journey marked by resistance, perseverance, and unwavering faith.

In the early years, the opposition from surrounding communities was strong. The establishment of a church in such an area was not welcomed, and the soil, both physically and spiritually, proved difficult. Yet from 2016 to 2019, through consistent presence, prayer, and faithful outreach, hearts slowly began to turn. What once resisted began to respond, and a small but growing community of believers started to take shape.

A major turning point came in 2019 when land was provided for the church. This marked the beginning of a new phase—one that would test endurance like never before. From 2019 to December 2024, the construction of the church became a testimony in itself. It was not built through external funding or large donations, but through sacrifice—every single brick laid with intention, every cost carefully carried.

The burden of construction was borne through what God provided via Serosh Hospital. With no outside financial support, every penny that could be saved was set aside for this purpose. It was a continuous, five-year journey of discipline, faith, and sacrifice—where progress often came slowly, but never stopped. Each brick represented not just material, but commitment. Each step forward carried the weight of perseverance.

This was not an easy build—it was a gruelling process. Yet, with everything that was available, and through every challenge faced, the church continued to rise. What stands today is not just a structure, but a testimony of obedience, endurance, and trust in God’s provision.
