FGD Khaliq Nagar Church is a place of worship and community development, dedicated to serving both the local Christian community and the Mirasi people—a marginalized group living on the outskirts of Lahore City.
As the only church in the area, it provides spiritual guidance, discipleship, and social support to those in need. The church’s mission extends beyond worship, focusing on transforming lives through faith, education, and outreach.

FGD Khaliq Nagar Church was founded in 2017 as a house church under Pastor Khalid Masih, becoming the first Christian place of worship in a predominantly Muslim area. Despite verbal harassment and challenges, FGD leadership, along with Pastor Khalid and his family, remained committed to their mission.
For two years, the church served as both a house church and a shelter for community development, supporting local Christians and reaching out to the Mirasi people, a marginalized, faithless community. In June 2019, FGD acquired land, and Chairman Pastor Shafqat Shoukat laid the foundation bricks.
By 2020, construction was completed, transforming Khaliq Nagar Church into a permanent place of worship and a center for spiritual and social growth. Today, it continues to serve as a gateway to Christ for the Mirasi people and a stronghold for the Christian community.
The establishment of FGD Khaliq Nagar Church in 2017 was not just the planting of a church—it was the planting of hope in difficult soil. In a neighborhood where no church had ever stood, God opened a door through the obedience and faithfulness of Pastor Khalid Masih and FGD leadership.
Starting as a house church, the mission was clear: to strengthen the Christian community and reach the Mirasi people, who lived without a firm spiritual foundation. The early days were filled with challenges—opposition, verbal harassment, and isolation—but also with unwavering faith.
FGD believed that even in a place where Christianity was unwelcome, the light of Christ could not be hidden. The first gatherings were small, but each prayer, each sermon, and each act of love planted seeds that would grow into something far greater. Today, FGD Khaliq Nagar Church stands as proof that when God calls, He also provides the strength to stand firm.
By 2018, a remarkable change had begun to take place in Khaliq Nagar. The tensions that once surrounded the church started to ease as the Holy Spirit moved powerfully in the area. Those who had once opposed and bullied the church began to show signs of softened hearts, and the atmosphere shifted from hostility to an undeniable spiritual breakthrough.
With this transformation, FGD leadership and Pastor Khalid Masih felt a renewed determination and an even stronger commitment to the mission. Seeing the grip of darkness weaken, FGD embraced the vision of establishing a permanent place of worship. The dream of acquiring land for a church building was no longer just a hope—it was becoming a necessity.
As days passed, faith grew, opposition faded, and FGD stepped forward with boldness, preparing for the next step in God’s plan—the construction of a house of worship that would stand as a testimony of His power and faithfulness.
2019 was a year of action and fulfillment for FGD Khaliq Nagar Church. As the spiritual climate continued to change and God’s favor became more evident, FGD took a bold step forward—purchasing land to establish a permanent church building.
In June 2019, after much prayer and planning, FGD officially acquired the land for the church. This was a significant milestone, marking the transition from a house church to a dedicated place of worship and community development.
With faith and determination, Chairman Pastor Shafqat Shoukat laid the first foundation bricks, symbolizing God’s promise and the unwavering commitment of FGD to serve the people of Khaliq Nagar. The construction process had officially begun, bringing the vision of a solid, lasting church structure one step closer to reality.
2020 was a landmark year for FGD Khaliq Nagar Church, as the long-awaited vision of a permanent church building was finally fulfilled. After years of perseverance, prayer, and spiritual battles, construction was completed, and the church stood as a beacon of faith and hope for the local Christian community and the Mirasi people.
In December 2020, the Commissioning Service was held, led by Chairman Pastor Shafqat Shoukat, Pastor Khalid Masih, and FGD leadership. This service marked the official dedication of the church to the work of God, a moment of celebration and commitment to its mission. The church was no longer just a gathering place—it was now a fully established center for worship, discipleship, and community development.
With a solid foundation—both physically and spiritually—FGD Khaliq Nagar Church stepped into a new chapter, continuing its mission to bring Christ to the Mirasi people and strengthen the faith of the Christian community.
By the grace of our amazing God, FGD Ministries continues to witness meaningful growth through its Church Multiplication vision at Khaliq Nagar Church. What started as a step of faith has developed into a strong center for discipleship, leadership training, and community impact.
Built on the teachings and example of Jesus Christ, Khaliq Nagar Church focuses on equipping House Church Leaders to lead with integrity, share the Gospel effectively, and reflect Christ in their daily lives. Through ongoing training and guidance, these leaders are being strengthened to disciple others and expand the reach of the Church.
This vision is clearly taking shape. Today, 20 House Churches are actively being led, together caring for and discipling over 110 new believers in Christ. Each gathering serves as a place of spiritual growth, encouragement, and transformation.
Khaliq Nagar Church continues to stand as a living example of faithful multiplication—raising leaders, strengthening believers, and extending God’s Kingdom through simple yet powerful acts of obedience.
From its humble beginnings in 2017 as a house church to becoming a center of worship and transformation, FGD Khaliq Nagar Church has experienced God’s unwavering faithfulness. Through years of challenges and victories, the church has not only grown in numbers but also in spiritual strength, continuing to be a beacon of hope for the Christian community and the Mirasi people.
