Kiln History
Jhandyala Village Kiln carries a history marked by labor, silence, and long-standing neglect.
For over a century, this kiln has been a place where families have worked under harsh conditions—molding bricks day after day in extreme heat, often earning only enough to survive. Generation after generation has remained tied to the same cycle, with little access to education, healthcare, or opportunity for change.
For more than 120 years, the kiln existed not only in physical hardship but also in deep spiritual isolation. It was a place where the message of hope had never reached, and where communities lived unseen and unheard.
In 2017, that history began to shift.
FGD Ministries entered Jhandyala Village Kiln with a mission to reach those who had long been overlooked. What began as outreach soon grew into a sustained presence—bringing not only medical care and education, but also the message of the Gospel.
Since then, the kiln has witnessed the beginning of transformation.
Where once there was only labor, there is now learning.
Where there was isolation, there is now community.
Where there was silence, there is now a growing voice of hope.
Today, Jhandyala Kiln stands at a turning point in its history—not just as a place known for bricks, but as a place where lives are being rebuilt, and a new future is being shaped.
