About Church Plantation Project

History: FGD’s Journey into Church Planting

FGD’s church planting mission began with a divine calling to create spiritual sanctuaries in areas where faith and support were most needed. Recognizing the intertwined physical and spiritual needs of communities, FGD adopted a unique approach that integrates medical outreach to pave the way for evangelism and church establishment.

The journey started in Pakistan, targeting rural and urban areas with limited access to spiritual guidance and healthcare. Medical outreach camps became the spearhead of the mission, building trust and relationships within communities and laying the foundation for faith-based initiatives. Recently, FGD took a monumental step internationally by planting its first church in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, furthering its global vision of spreading the Gospel.

How we do it

How We Do It: Medical Outreach as a Path to Evangelism

  1. Prayer and Divine Direction:

    • Each project begins with seeking the Holy Spirit’s guidance to identify communities that are ripe for spiritual transformation.
  2. Medical Outreach as the Spearhead:

    • Healthcare Services: FGD organizes free medical camps to address pressing healthcare needs in underserved areas.
    • Building Trust: By addressing physical ailments, FGD establishes goodwill and trust, opening hearts to the message of faith and hope.
  3. Evangelism on a Rolling Scale:

    • Following the medical camps, FGD introduces the Gospel through compassionate dialogue and faith-based activities.
    • Small gatherings evolve into congregations, creating a foundation for a sustainable church.
  4. Establishing Churches:

    • Once a congregation is formed, a permanent place of worship is established.
    • FGD trains local leaders and pastors to ensure the long-term growth and impact of the church.
  5. Ongoing Support:

    • Each church receives continuous mentorship, resources, and guidance to thrive as a center for faith and community development.

Let us go forward in this battle fortified by conviction that those who labour in the service of a great and good cause will never fail.

Our Vision

FGD is committed to planting 200 churches in Pakistan and expanding its mission to other nations. The successful establishment of the first church in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marks the beginning of this global expansion.

By combining medical outreach and evangelism, FGD envisions a network of churches that act as beacons of hope, providing spiritual, emotional, and physical support to their communities.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." — Matthew 28:19-20 (ESV)

Current Progress

    • 9 Churches are currently in progress, with congregations being nurtured and foundations being laid.
  • Saudi Arabia:
    • 1 Church in Riyadh has been established, paving the way for further expansion in the region.

"Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin, to see the plumb line in Zerubbabel's hand." — Zechariah 4:10 (NLT)

Our Needs

  1. Community Outreach and Engagement: FGD aims to build stronger connections within various communities. Church plantations require focused outreach programs that help spread the church’s message while fostering a sense of belonging. This could include organizing events, activities, and ministries that reach underserved or isolated groups.
  2. Infrastructure and Facilities: Developing proper facilities for churches is a critical need. FGD focuses on providing resources to ensure the churches have the infrastructure to accommodate growing congregations, such as worship spaces, community halls, and educational facilities.

  3. Leadership Development and Training: One of FGD’s priorities is to nurture and equip local leaders to guide church plantations. Fostering leadership within the community ensures that the church has strong, capable individuals who can manage activities, help with church operations, and provide pastoral care.

  4. Financial Support: Church plantation requires consistent financial support for ongoing projects and sustainability. FGD may be in need of donations and other forms of financial assistance to build churches, support staff, and provide for the community’s needs.

  5. Cultural Sensitivity and Adaptation: Each community has its unique culture and needs. FGD is focused on understanding the cultural dynamics and adjusting church practices to be more relatable and accessible, helping people connect more deeply with faith.

  6. Community Development Programs: FGD’s efforts extend beyond spiritual guidance; they include offering community development programs, like educational initiatives, healthcare support, or vocational training, to improve the quality of life in the areas served.

  7. Resource Mobilization: Securing the necessary resources—whether it be materials for church construction, educational materials, or transportation—remains a priority. FGD’s work in the church plantation process is closely tied to resource mobilization, ensuring that every need is met for the community’s growth.
