Discovery Of Bhenni Village Church:

In August 2019, Faith in Growth and Development (FGD) identified Bhenni Village as a potential mission field while seeking to expand outreach in unreached areas near the Indo-Pak border. The village, located just 11.5 km from the border, was considered a challenging and risky place for Christian ministry. Despite these obstacles, God placed a strong burden on FGD’s leadership to establish a church and serve the local Christian community.

A Divine Connection:

During their initial visits, FGD encountered Pastor Shafeeq Sadiq and his family, who had already been serving Christ in Bhenni Village long before FGD’s arrival. Seeing their dedication and faith, FGD recognized God’s provision in connecting them with local believers who shared the same vision. This partnership became the foundation of the church planting efforts in the village.

Church Construction Journey:

With limited resources and no external organizational support, FGD stepped forward in faith, trusting God for provision at every stage of the project.

• 2020 – Outreach officially begins in the village.
• 2021 – Land for the church is purchased through God’s provision.
• 2022 – Construction work begins with available resources.
• 2023 – The church building is completed after the installation of the roof.

Throughout this journey, FGD faced financial struggles, often having just enough to continue the work. At times, support from God’s people provided relief, but it was often barely enough to overcome major obstacles. However, by God’s grace, the church was completed, standing as a beacon of faith and perseverance for the community.

Challenges and Achievments:

• Proximity to the Indo-Pak Border – The village’s location made outreach difficult, but the mission persisted with faith and determination.
• Independent Effort – FGD undertook this project without institutional backing, relying solely on God’s provision and the limited support of believers.
• Lack of Documentation – Unlike previous church projects, a full construction gallery was not created due to a focus on the mission rather than media coverage. This is an area FGD aims to improve in future projects.
• Spiritual Impact – Despite all challenges, FGD Bhenni Village Church now stands as a place of worship and spiritual growth, bringing hope to the local Christian community.

This church serves as a testimony of faith, perseverance, hard work, and God’s unfailing provision, continuing FGD’s mission of reaching the unreached and strengthening the body of Christ.
