With a strong focus on evangelism, leadership development, and community transformation, the church actively facilitates mission expansion into Jhelum and Azad Kashmir. It stands as a gateway for reaching new territories, equipping workers, and sustaining ongoing ministry efforts in challenging and unreached areas.

Our Vision

The vision of FGD Gujrat City Church is to be a beacon of faith, hope, and transformation in Gujrat City and across the northeastern region of Punjab. Positioned strategically in a smaller yet significant city, the church stands as a forward base for the mission and outreach of FGD Ministries—extending the Gospel into Jhelum and Azad Kashmir districts.

Rooted in Christ’s love and the Great Commission, the church is committed to:

Strengthening the Faithful – Building a spiritually mature and united body of believers through sound biblical teaching, passionate worship, and intentional discipleship.

Spreading the Gospel – Advancing into unreached and resistant areas with the message of salvation, bringing the light of Jesus Christ to communities across eastern Punjab and beyond.

Serving the Community – Demonstrating Christ’s compassion by addressing spiritual, emotional, and social needs, fostering holistic transformation in individuals and families.

Church History

FGD Gujrat City Church was established as part of the broader vision of FGD Ministries to expand the Gospel into the northeastern regions of Punjab. Recognizing the strategic importance of Gujrat City as a connecting point between central Punjab and northern territories, the church was planted with a clear mission—to serve as a launching ground for future ministry expansion.

From its early days, the church has carried a dual purpose: nurturing a local body of believers while simultaneously functioning as a base of forward operations. Through consistent outreach, discipleship, and leadership training, it has grown into a vital center for mobilizing workers and resources.

Over time, the church has played a key role in opening pathways into Jhelum and Azad Kashmir districts, supporting evangelistic efforts and helping establish new faith communities. Its journey reflects obedience, perseverance, and a deep commitment to advancing God’s Kingdom in regions where the Gospel is still being introduced.

FGD Gujrat City Church stands as a centre of equipping—where believers and leaders are actively trained for the work of the Gospel.
